Possible Causes
Blocked internal drain hole, Disconnected or cracked drain hose, Evaporation tray misaligned, Excessive condensation from frequent door openings
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Unplug the unit before working inside or behind it.
Steps to clear water issues:
- Locate drain hole: Inside the cabinet, find the small drain opening at the rear bottom area.
- Clear blockage: Use a soft pipe cleaner or flexible plastic rod to gently clear any debris or mold from the drain.
- Check rear drain hose: From the back, ensure the drain hose is securely connected from the liner to the evaporation tray above the compressor and is not kinked.
- Inspect evaporation tray: Make sure the tray is properly seated and not cracked.
Persistent leaks after clearing the drain may indicate a liner crack or hose damage that requires part replacement.
