Wine cooler overcools; temperature inside is much lower than setpoint and bottles may be too cold or freezing.

Safety first: Unplug the appliance before accessing sensors or control boards.

Steps to correct:

• Verify with thermometer: Place an accurate thermometer inside and compare to the display. Note the difference.
• Check sensor placement: Ensure the cabinet sensor is correctly mounted on the liner wall and not touching the evaporator or a cold air outlet.
• Inspect sensor wiring: Look for damage or loose connections at the sensor and main PCB.
• Replace cabinet sensor: If misreading is large and persistent, replace the cabinet temperature sensor (NTC).

If overcooling continues with a new sensor, the main control PCB may be defective and should be replaced by a technician.
