Safety: Unplug the unit before making hinge adjustments to avoid pinched fingers.

Steps:

• Level cabinet: Adjust leveling feet so the cooler is slightly tilted back. This helps the door close by gravity.
• Inspect gasket: Look for twists, tears, or hardened sections. Warm the gasket gently with a hair dryer (on low, outside the cabinet) and reshape it by hand to improve sealing.
• Adjust hinges: Tighten hinge screws and adjust the door position so it aligns evenly with the cabinet.
• Replace gasket: If the gasket is damaged or will not seal, replace it with a Simzlife‑specific door gasket.
