Safety: Always unplug the unit before inspecting the power cord or control board. Do not attempt live voltage tests unless you are trained and equipped.

Steps:

• Check outlet: Plug a lamp or small appliance into the same outlet to confirm stable power. Avoid using extension cords or power strips.
• Inspect power cord: Look for cuts, kinks, or burn marks along the Simzlife power cord. If damaged, the cord must be replaced; do not tape or splice it.
• Access main board: Remove the rear service panel to locate the main control PCB. Verify that the AC input connector is fully seated and that there are no signs of scorching or swollen components on the board.
• Reseat connectors: Gently unplug and replug the low‑voltage harnesses going to the display and lights.
• Replace main PCB if needed: If the error persists and there is visible board damage or repeated low‑voltage symptoms, replace the main control board with the correct Simzlife part number.
