Possible Causes
Failed humidity sensor, Sensor wiring disconnected, Door gasket leaking warm moist air
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Unplug the unit before removing interior panels.
Steps:
- Check door seal: Inspect the gasket all around the door. Clean it with mild soap and warm water, then dry. Look for cracks or areas that do not contact the cabinet frame. Replace the gasket if damaged.
- Ventilation and room humidity: Very humid rooms can overwhelm the cooler. Use a dehumidifier in the room if possible and avoid frequent door openings.
- Locate humidity sensor: Some Simzlife models place a small sensor module near the top of the cabinet or behind the control panel. Inspect for loose connectors or corrosion.
- Reseat or replace sensor: Disconnect and reconnect the sensor plug. If the error persists and the sensor appears damaged, replace it with the correct Simzlife humidity sensor module.
- Dry interior: Wipe excess moisture from walls and shelves. After repairs, run the unit for several hours and recheck for condensation.
