Possible Causes
Open NTC temperature sensor, Sensor unplugged from main board, Control board misreading sensor
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Unplug the unit before handling sensors or boards.
Steps:
- Check actual temperature: Use a separate thermometer to confirm the real cabinet temperature. If it is near freezing, remove sensitive bottles to prevent damage.
- Inspect sensor connections: Access the interior rear panel and locate the zone sensor. Follow its wires to the main board and ensure the connector is fully seated.
- Test sensor: If possible, measure resistance across the sensor leads. An open circuit indicates a failed sensor that must be replaced.
- Replace sensor or board: Replace the NTC sensor if open. If the sensor tests good but Lo persists, the main control board may be faulty and require replacement.
