Safety: Unplug the unit before accessing the fan.

Steps:

Check for airflow: With the door open and unit running, you should feel air movement from the rear vents. If not, proceed.
Inspect for ice: Remove shelves and rear interior panel. If the fan is encased in ice, fully defrost the unit and address any defrost system issues.
Spin test: Try spinning the fan by hand. If stiff or seized, replace the evaporator fan motor.
Check wiring: Ensure the fan connector is firmly attached to the harness and not corroded.
Replace motor: Remove mounting screws, transfer the fan blade to the new motor, and reinstall.
