Possible Causes

Wine cooler not level, Loose internal fan, Vibrating copper refrigerant lines, Compressor mounting grommets worn

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety: Unplug the unit before adjusting internal components. Use caution when moving the cooler.

Steps:

  • Level the unit: Use a spirit level on the top of the cooler. Adjust the front leveling feet until the cabinet is stable and does not rock.
  • Check internal shelves: Ensure shelves are fully seated and not rattling against the side walls or bottles.
  • Inspect fans: Remove interior and rear panels to check that evaporator and condenser fans are securely mounted and not hitting shrouds or wires. Tighten screws and reposition wires as needed.
  • Secure tubing: Gently move copper refrigerant lines away from cabinet walls or each other if they are touching and vibrating. Use foam sleeves or clips to isolate them.
  • Compressor mounts: Inspect rubber grommets under the compressor. If cracked or missing, replace them to reduce vibration transfer.
