How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Unplug the unit before removing the control panel if needed.
Steps:
- Check for lock mode: Many Simzlife models have a control lock feature. Press and hold the lock icon or designated button combination (refer to user manual) for 3–5 seconds to unlock.
- Clean panel: Wipe the touch surface to remove grease or residue that may interfere with touch detection.
- Inspect connections: If still unresponsive, remove the control panel and check the ribbon cable between the touch PCB and main board. Reseat it firmly.
- Replace touch PCB: If only some buttons fail or none respond after reseating, replace the touch control panel PCB.
