High Humidity / Condensation Fault
Wine cooler displays H1 or a similar code indicating high humidity or condensation alarm inside the cabinet.

Possible Causes
Door left ajar or frequently opened, Damaged or deformed door gasket, Blocked condensate drain channel, Faulty humidity or temperature sensor calibration
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: No internal electrical work is usually required for this fault, but always unplug the unit if removing interior panels.
Steps to address H1:
- Check door closure: Ensure the door closes fully and the hinges are not sagging. Adjust leveling feet so the cabinet leans slightly back, helping the door close firmly.
- Inspect the gasket: Run a thin strip of paper around the door seal; if it pulls out easily in spots when the door is closed, the gasket may be leaking. Warm the gasket gently with a hair dryer and reshape it, or replace it if torn or hardened.
- Clear the drain channel: Locate the small drain hole at the rear of the interior (if equipped). Use a soft pipe cleaner or cotton swab to clear any blockage so condensate can drain properly.
- Reduce door openings: Minimize how often and how long the door is opened, especially in humid environments.
- Sensor check: If the humidity alarm persists despite good sealing and drainage, the internal sensor (often combined with the temperature sensor) may be out of calibration and require replacement by a technician.
Tip: Avoid placing wet bottles or containers inside; wipe them dry first to reduce internal humidity.
