- Inspect sensor placement: Ensure the cabinet sensor is mounted where designed and not touching extremely cold surfaces or blocked by bottles.
- Replace sensor: If readings are consistently off by several degrees, replace the cabinet NTC sensor with a SMEG-approved part.
- Control board: If a new sensor does not correct the discrepancy, the control PCB may have a calibration fault and require replacement.
