Noisy Compressor or Condenser Fan
Wine cooler makes loud humming or buzzing noise from the rear, louder than normal operation.

Possible Causes
Worn condenser fan motor bearings, Fan blade hitting shroud or wiring, Compressor mounting grommets hardened or missing, Unit not leveled causing vibration
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Unplug the appliance before touching any moving parts or removing panels.
Steps to reduce noise:
- Level the unit: Adjust the front leveling feet so the cabinet is stable and does not rock. An unlevel unit can amplify vibration noise.
- Access rear compartment: Remove the rear lower panel and observe the condenser fan while the unit is running (briefly reconnect power for this test). Ensure the fan blade is not rubbing against the shroud or wires; reposition as needed.
- Check fan motor: If the fan is noisy even when unobstructed, replace the condenser fan motor.
- Inspect compressor mounts: Check the rubber grommets under the compressor. Replace any that are cracked or missing to reduce transmitted vibration.
Note: Some compressor hum is normal, but sudden increases in noise may indicate impending component failure.
