Possible Causes
Uneven floor, Leveling feet not adjusted, Missing or damaged rear rollers, Compressor mounting grommets worn
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Unplug the unit before tipping or lifting. Use two people for larger models.
Steps to stabilize the cabinet:
- 1. Level the unit: Adjust the front leveling feet until the STAIGIS cooler is stable and does not rock.
- 2. Check floor surface: Place the unit on a solid, level surface. Avoid soft carpets that can amplify vibration.
- 3. Inspect rear rollers and feet: Ensure rear rollers (if equipped) are intact and not broken. Replace damaged "rear roller" or "leveling foot" components.
- 4. Check compressor mounts: Verify that the compressor is firmly mounted on rubber grommets. Replace worn "compressor mounting grommets" if needed.
