How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety first: Disconnect power before removing interior panels.

Step 1 – Compare zones

Note which zone is warm and whether its fan runs when the compressor is on.

Step 2 – Access warm zone evaporator

Remove shelves and the rear panel of the warm zone.
Check for ice blocking the evaporator or fan.

Step 3 – Test fan and damper

If the fan does not run, replace the evaporator fan motor.
If equipped with a damper and it does not move or is stuck closed, replace the damper assembly.

Step 4 – Sensor and board

Replace the zone thermistor if readings are inaccurate.
If components test good, the zone control board may be faulty and require professional replacement.
