• Remove the trim around the control panel as per your model’s instructions.
• Carefully pull the control panel forward to access the ribbon cable.
• Reseat the ribbon cable at both the user interface and main control board ends, ensuring it is fully inserted and locked.

Step 4 – Replace user interface if needed

• If EC06 persists and buttons or display remain unresponsive, the user interface board may be defective.
• Replace the UI with the correct Sub‑Zero part, transferring any overlay or trim as required.

Step 5 – Main board consideration

• If a new UI does not resolve EC06, the main control board may have a communication fault.
• Professional diagnosis is recommended before replacing the main board.
