Step 1 – Hard reset

• Restore power and observe if EC07 reappears.

Step 2 – Check for external causes

• Verify the outlet voltage is stable and within specification (typically 120 VAC in North America).
• Avoid sharing the circuit with heavy loads (dishwasher, microwave) that can cause voltage dips.

Step 3 – Inspect control board area

• Remove the access panel to the control board (often at the top or rear of the unit).
• Look for burn marks, swollen capacitors, or a burnt odor on the board.
• Check all harness connectors for secure fit and signs of overheating.

Step 4 – Board replacement

• If EC07 persists and visual inspection suggests board damage, replacement of the main control board is typically required.
• Label all connectors before removal, then transfer them one by one to the new board to avoid miswiring.
