Step 1 – Verify with thermometer

• Place a calibrated thermometer in the center of the compartment and compare to the display after 24 hours of stable operation.

Step 2 – Adjust setpoint

• If the difference is small (2–3°F), adjust the setpoint to compensate.

Step 3 – Inspect thermistor placement

• Ensure the thermistor is mounted as designed and not touching cold surfaces directly.
• Replace the thermistor if readings are significantly off.

Step 4 – Check gasket

• Repair or replace any leaking door gasket that may cause temperature swings.
