Possible Causes
Clogged condensate drain hole, Disconnected drain tube, Cracked drain pan, Excessive door openings causing condensation
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Unplug the unit and mop up standing water to prevent slipping.
- Locate drain hole: Inside the cabinet, find the small drain hole or channel at the rear bottom area.
- Clear blockage: Use a soft pipe cleaner, cotton swab, or flexible plastic rod to gently clear debris from the drain hole. Do not use metal objects that can puncture the liner.
- Flush with warm water: Use a turkey baster or syringe to flush warm water through the drain to ensure it flows freely to the rear drain pan.
- Inspect rear drain pan and tube: Remove the rear panel and verify the drain tube is connected and routed into the drain pan above the compressor. Reattach or replace the drain tube if disconnected or cracked.
- Reduce condensation: Minimize door openings and ensure the door gasket seals properly.
