Possible Causes
High ambient humidity, Door gasket not sealing, Door frequently opened, Faulty anti-condensation heater (if equipped)
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Condensation itself is not dangerous, but water near electrical outlets should be wiped up promptly.
- Check room conditions: High humidity environments will naturally cause more condensation. Use a dehumidifier if possible.
- Inspect gasket: Ensure the door gasket is intact and sealing evenly. Replace if damaged.
- Limit door openings: Reduce the frequency and duration of door openings to minimize warm, moist air entering.
- Anti-condensation heater: Some Teka models have a heater around the door frame. If the frame is cold and sweating heavily, the heater may have failed. Have a technician test and replace the heater if present.
