Possible Causes
Zone-specific evaporator fan failure, Zone temperature sensor fault, Diverter damper stuck closed, Partial sealed system issue affecting one circuit
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Disconnect power before accessing internal components.
- Compare fan operation: Listen for fan noise in both zones. If one zone's fan is silent, replace that zone's evaporator fan motor.
- Check zone sensor: Test the NTC sensor for the affected zone and replace if faulty.
- Inspect air damper (if equipped): Some Teka dual-zone models use a damper to share cold air. Access the damper and ensure it moves freely. Replace if stuck.
- Sealed system evaluation: If fans and sensors are good but one zone still does not cool, a sealed system issue specific to that circuit may exist and requires a refrigeration technician.
