Possible Causes
Stuck keypad button, Moisture in control panel, Damaged touch sensor, Faulty user interface PCB
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Unplug the wine cooler before removing the control panel.
- Inspect for stuck buttons: Check the control panel for physically stuck or damaged buttons. Gently free any that are jammed.
- Dry moisture: If condensation or liquid has entered the panel, remove the panel and allow it to dry completely. Use a hair dryer on a low, cool setting if necessary (do not overheat).
- Clean contacts: For mechanical keypads, clean the contact surfaces with isopropyl alcohol and a lint-free cloth.
- Reconnect harness: Reseat the connector between the user interface and main PCB.
- Replace interface board: If Er persists and buttons do not respond correctly, replace the user interface PCB with a Teka-compatible part.
