Possible Causes
Stuck compressor relay on PCB, Faulty temperature sensor reading too warm, Control PCB logic fault, Incorrect setpoint or mode
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Unplug the unit before accessing internal components. Overcooling can cause glass bottles to break; handle with care.
- Check temperature setting: Verify that the set temperature is appropriate for wine storage and that the unit is not in a special rapid-cool mode.
- Reset control: Disconnect power for 10 minutes to reset the control electronics. Restore power and observe operation.
- Test cabinet sensor: If the display shows a higher temperature than actual, the sensor may be out of calibration. Test and replace the cabinet NTC sensor if necessary.
- Inspect PCB relays: Access the main control PCB and check the compressor relay. If it appears welded closed (compressor runs constantly regardless of setpoint), the PCB must be replaced.
- Remove at-risk bottles: Temporarily remove sensitive bottles until temperature control is restored.
