Possible Causes

Burnt LED module or bulb, Faulty door switch, Loose light wiring connector, Failed light driver on PCB

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety: Unplug the wine cooler before replacing any light components.

  • Check door switch: Verify that the door switch or sensor is working (see E7). If the control thinks the door is closed, the light will stay off.
  • Inspect light module: Remove the light cover inside the cabinet. Check for visible damage or discoloration of the LED module or bulb.
  • Test voltage: With the unit briefly powered and door open (only if safe and using insulated probes), check for voltage at the light connector. Then unplug again.
  • Replace light module: If voltage is present but the light is off, replace the LED light module or bulb with a Teka-compatible part.
  • PCB driver: If no voltage is present and the door switch is good, the light driver circuit on the main PCB may be faulty and require board replacement.
