Possible Causes
Door not sealing properly, Incorrect temperature setting, Faulty temperature sensor, Control PCB not terminating cooling
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Disconnect power before adjusting hinges or replacing sensors.
- Check setpoint: Ensure the temperature is not set unnecessarily low. Raise the setpoint slightly and observe if the compressor cycles off.
- Inspect door alignment and gasket: Adjust hinges so the door closes squarely. Replace a damaged gasket.
- Test temperature sensor: If the cabinet is at or below the set temperature but the compressor keeps running, test the cabinet NTC sensor and replace if out of range.
- Control board evaluation: If the sensor is good and there are no air leaks, the main control PCB may not be interpreting the sensor correctly and may need replacement.
