Possible Causes
Failed LED light module, Faulty or misaligned door switch, Broken wiring to light, Control board not supplying voltage to light circuit
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Unplug the cabinet before working on the light or door switch.
Steps:
- Check settings: Some Transtherm models allow disabling the light. Verify that the light is not turned off via the control panel.
- Inspect door switch: Locate the door switch (plunger or magnetic reed). Press it manually and see if the light flickers. Replace the door switch if it feels loose or does not actuate.
- Check LED module: Remove the light cover and inspect the LED module for burn marks or water damage. Replace the interior LED light module if defective.
- Verify wiring: Ensure the light harness is connected firmly to the control board.
Note: LED modules are low voltage but still require the unit to be unplugged during service.
