Possible Causes
Failed upper zone evaporator fan, Blocked upper air vents, Faulty upper zone temperature sensor, Control board not supplying cooling to upper circuit
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Unplug the cabinet before removing interior panels.
Steps:
- Check vents: Ensure upper zone vents are not blocked by bottles or shelves.
- Inspect upper fan: Remove the upper rear interior panel and check the upper evaporator fan. Replace the upper zone evaporator fan motor if seized or not running.
- Test upper sensor: Inspect and test the upper zone NTC sensor; replace if readings are incorrect.
Note: If both zones share a single compressor and only one zone fails, the issue is usually with fans, sensors, or dampers rather than the sealed system.
