Temperature display is inaccurate compared to an independent thermometer

Safety: Unplug the unit before adjusting or replacing sensors.

Steps:

• Verify with multiple thermometers: Place at least two accurate thermometers at different heights to confirm the discrepancy.
• Check sensor placement: Ensure the cabinet sensor is not touching bottles or walls and is in free airflow.
• Replace sensor: If the sensor is old or suspect, install a new cabinet NTC temperature sensor.
• Control calibration: Some Transtherm models allow minor temperature offset adjustments via the control menu; consult the manual and adjust if available.

Note: Temperature can vary slightly between shelves; measure near the sensor location for best comparison.
