Possible Causes
Open-circuit lower cabinet NTC sensor, Shorted lower cabinet NTC sensor, Damaged wiring harness to lower sensor, Loose connector at main control board sensor input
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Unplug the wine cooler before removing panels or shelves.
- Verify zone: Confirm that only the lower zone is affected and that the upper zone reads normally.
- Access lower sensor: Remove the lower shelves and any interior panel covering the rear wall. Locate the small sensor probe clipped to the liner or near the evaporator cover.
- Check harness: Inspect the sensor wire for damage from bottle racks or ice buildup. Ensure the connector at the sensor and at the main control board is firmly seated.
- Measure resistance: Use a multimeter to check the NTC resistance at room temperature. Replace if reading is open or shorted.
- Install replacement: Fit a TYLZA-compatible lower zone NTC sensor, secure it in the original clip or bracket, and route the cable away from moving fan parts.
- Power up: Reassemble, restore power, and confirm that E2 disappears and the lower zone temperature displays correctly.
