Steps to address:

• 1. Confirm error persistence: Perform a full power reset (unplug 10 minutes). If E11 returns immediately on power-up, the board is likely at fault.
• 2. Inspect for external causes: Verify that all sensors, fans, and compressor connections are secure. Sometimes peripheral faults can cascade into board errors.
• 3. Access the main control board: Remove the upper grille or rear service panel (depending on model) to expose the board.
• 4. Visual inspection: Look for burnt components, darkened areas, cracked solder joints, or insect/moisture contamination. If present, board replacement is recommended.
• 5. Check connectors: Reseat all harnesses to ensure good contact. A poor connection can sometimes mimic a board fault.
• 6. Replace the board: If no external component faults are found and E11 persists, install a new OEM Viking main control board. Transfer any jumpers or configuration plugs exactly as on the original.

Important: Because the main control board coordinates all cooling functions, incorrect replacement or wiring can damage the unit. If unsure, use a Viking-authorized service provider.
