Possible Causes
Failed LED light module, Faulty door switch or reed sensor, Loose light harness connection, Failed low-voltage driver on main control board
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Unplug the wine cooler before removing light covers or accessing wiring.
Steps to troubleshoot:
- 1. Check door switch: Verify that the door switch or reed sensor is working by listening for the door alarm or watching the display respond when the door opens/closes. If the switch is faulty, replace it first.
- 2. Inspect LED module: Remove the interior light lens or trim to access the LED module. Look for burn marks or discoloration.
- 3. Check connections: Ensure the light harness is firmly connected to the LED module and to the main control board.
- 4. Test with a known-good module: If available, temporarily connect a new LED module to see if it illuminates. If it does, replace the original module.
- 5. Control board check: If the door switch and LED module are good but no voltage is supplied to the light circuit, the main control board’s light driver may be failed and require replacement.
