Possible Causes
Door left open or not sealing, Blocked air vents inside cabinet, Failed compressor or Peltier module, Refrigerant leak in sealed system
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Do not operate the cooler with panels removed. Unplug before internal inspection.
Steps to respond to H1/HI:
- 1. Check door and gasket: Ensure the door closes fully and the gasket makes uniform contact all around. Look for torn or deformed gasket sections. Adjust door hinges if sagging.
- 2. Verify ventilation: Confirm that the rear and sides have the clearance specified by Vinotemp and that the front grille is not blocked by cabinets or objects.
- 3. Inspect interior airflow: Make sure shelves or bottles are not blocking internal air vents. Leave some space between bottles for circulation.
- 4. Listen for compressor or cooling module: When powered, you should hear the compressor or Peltier module and interior fan running. If they are silent, check for error codes like E8 or E9 and troubleshoot accordingly.
- 5. Monitor temperature: After correcting airflow and door issues, allow 12–24 hours for the temperature to stabilize. If the unit cannot reach set temperature and H1 persists, a sealed system or cooling module failure is likely.
Warning: Sealed system repairs (compressor, refrigerant leak) must be performed by a licensed refrigeration technician.
