Possible Causes
Unit not level, Loose compressor mounting or tubing, Condenser fan blade hitting shroud, Shelves or bottles vibrating against each other
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Unplug the unit before reaching behind or underneath it.
Steps:
- Level the cabinet: Use a level and adjust the front leveling legs so the unit is stable and does not rock.
- Rearrange bottles: Ensure bottles are not touching the cabinet walls or each other in a way that can rattle.
- Check rear components: Remove the rear panel and inspect the condenser fan blade for contact with wiring or the shroud. Adjust as needed.
- Secure tubing: Gently reposition any refrigerant lines that are touching each other or the cabinet and secure with foam or clips.
- Compressor mounts: Verify that the compressor mounting bolts or grommets are intact and not excessively loose.
