• Verify actual temperature: Use an independent thermometer to confirm the cabinet temperature. If it is at or below setpoint but the unit keeps running, a control issue is likely.
• Inspect door gasket: Ensure a tight seal all around the door. Replace the gasket if leaking.
• Test temperature sensors: Check resistance of cabinet and evaporator thermistors. Replace any that are out of specification.
• Check control board: If sensors and gasket are good, the compressor relay may be stuck closed. Replace the main control board.
