Possible Causes

Cabinet temperature below sensor's minimum reading, Overcooling due to control board fault, Incorrect temperature setting for the model

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety: Avoid prolonged storage of wine at excessively low temperatures to prevent cork damage.

Steps:

  • Check set temperature: Increase the setpoint to a typical wine storage temperature (e.g., 55°F / 13°C) and monitor.
  • Verify sensor readings: If the cabinet is clearly much colder than setpoint, inspect and test the temperature sensors. Replace any that are out of specification.
  • Control board check: If sensors are good but the compressor runs continuously, the control board may be misreading temperatures and should be replaced.

Note: 'Lo' by itself is often informational; if the unit cycles normally and wine is not freezing, no repair may be necessary.
