Possible Causes
Unit not leveled, Loose internal tubing touching cabinet, Loose shelf tracks or panels, Compressor lines vibrating against frame
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Unplug the unit before reaching behind or under it.
Steps:
- Level and stabilize: Adjust leveling legs so all four corners are firmly on the floor. Place vibration-absorbing pads under the legs if needed.
- Check internal components: Remove shelves and ensure they are seated properly. Tighten any loose shelf rails or interior panels.
- Inspect rear tubing: With the rear panel removed, look for copper refrigerant lines touching the cabinet or each other. Gently bend them away to create small gaps, being careful not to kink the tubing.
- Secure wiring: Use zip ties or clips to keep wires from rattling against metal surfaces.
After adjustments: Restore power and listen for improvement. Minor vibration is normal, but loud rattling should be eliminated.
