Wine cooler is running but makes a loud humming or buzzing noise from the rear.

• Level the unit: Use a bubble level and adjust the front leveling legs so the cooler is stable and does not rock.
• Access rear compartment: Remove the rear lower panel and observe the condenser fan and compressor while briefly powered (keep hands clear).
• Check fan blade: Ensure the blade is not rubbing against the shroud or wires. Gently bend the shroud or reposition wires as needed.
• Tighten mounts: Tighten any loose screws on the compressor mounting brackets and fan assembly.
• Replace noisy fan: If the fan motor hums loudly or wobbles, replace it with a Whynter-compatible condenser fan motor.

If the compressor itself is excessively loud and the noise persists after fan and mounting checks, consult a technician; compressor replacement may be required.
