Safety: Unplug the unit before cleaning or accessing the rear compartment.

Steps:

Clean condenser: Remove the rear lower panel and thoroughly clean the condenser coils with a soft brush and vacuum.
Check condenser fan: Verify the fan runs smoothly and at full speed when the compressor is on. Replace the fan motor if it is slow, noisy, or intermittent.
Verify door seal: Inspect the door gasket for gaps or tears. Close the door on a sheet of paper; there should be resistance when pulling it out. Replace the gasket if it does not seal.
Monitor run time: If the compressor runs almost constantly and the unit still cannot reach set temperature after cleaning and gasket checks, a sealed system issue (refrigerant leak or weak compressor) is likely.

Important: Sealed system repairs require a licensed refrigeration technician; do not attempt to open the sealed system yourself.
