Safety: Unplug the cooler before removing the control panel or rear cover.

Check cooling operation: Listen for compressor or fans to determine if the unit is still running despite the blank display.
Inspect power cord and outlet: Confirm the outlet has power and the cord is intact.
Access display connections: Remove the front control panel and reseat the ribbon cable or harness between the display and main board.
Inspect for broken door harness: On models with controls in the door, flexing can break wires. Check continuity of wires running through the door hinge area.
Replace display board: If wiring is intact but the display remains blank, replace the display PCB.
Check board fuses: Inspect any low-voltage fuses on the main board and replace if blown, after identifying and correcting the cause.
