Clean condenser: Ensure condenser coils are clean and the condenser fan is working to reduce compressor load.
Inspect start components: Remove the compressor cover and check the start relay and any start capacitor for bulging, burning, or cracking.
Test and replace: Use a multimeter to test the relay and capacitor according to specifications. Replace with Wine Enthusiast-compatible parts if out of range.
Monitor operation: After replacement, observe compressor run time. If it still shuts off quickly and becomes very hot, the compressor itself may be failing.

Compressor replacement is a sealed system repair and should be performed by a certified technician.
