Possible Causes
Misaligned door, Failed door switch sensor, Weak or missing door magnet, Warped door gasket preventing full closure
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: No internal electrical work is required for basic checks; unplug only if removing panels.
- Check door closure: Slowly close the door and observe if it fully seats against the gasket all around. Adjust leveling legs so the cabinet is plumb and the door self-closes.
- Inspect gasket: Look for gaps, tears, or hardened sections. Warm and reshape minor warps with a hair dryer on low, gently molding the gasket to the frame.
- Test door switch: Open the door and press the switch (if mechanical) or place a magnet near the sensor (if magnetic). The interior light should turn off and the alarm should stop. If not, the switch or sensor is likely faulty.
- Replace sensor or magnet: Install the correct Wolf door switch or magnet if defective.
