Possible Causes
Failed magnetic reed switch or hall sensor, Misaligned door magnet, Broken door switch wiring, Loose connector at control board
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Disconnect power before removing door trim or switch covers.
- Locate door sensor: On many Wolf wine coolers, the door switch is a magnetic sensor in the cabinet frame and a magnet in the door.
- Check alignment: Verify the door magnet lines up with the sensor when the door is closed. Adjust the door or magnet position if needed.
- Test sensor: With a multimeter, check continuity of the reed switch while placing a magnet near it. Replace if it does not change state.
- Inspect wiring: Look for pinched or broken wires around the door frame and hinge area. Reseat the connector at the control board.
