How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety: Unplug the unit before removing the control panel.

  • Dry the area: If condensation or spills have reached the control, gently dry the area and allow several hours with power off.
  • Inspect ribbon cable: Remove the control panel and check the keypad ribbon for cracks or corrosion. Reseat both ends.
  • Check for stuck buttons: Press each button individually to feel for sticking. Clean the surface with a soft, slightly damp cloth and mild detergent; do not flood the panel.
  • Replace keypad: If E7 persists and buttons do not respond correctly, replace the keypad or entire user interface assembly as specified by Wolf.
