How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Disconnect power before removing the control panel or display trim.
- Access UI board: Remove the front control panel bezel according to the Wolf service instructions.
- Check ribbon cable: Inspect the flat ribbon or harness between the display board and main control. Reseat both ends and ensure there are no kinks or cracks.
- Inspect for moisture: Look for signs of condensation or liquid intrusion around the display. Dry gently if present and correct any door gasket or ventilation issues causing moisture.
- Visual board check: Examine the UI board for burnt components or corrosion. Replace the user interface board if damage is visible or if EC6 persists after reseating cables.
- If still unresolved: The main control board may have a communication fault and require replacement.
