Possible Causes
Failed low-voltage power supply section on main control, Shorted LED light module, Shorted evaporator or circulation fan, Loose neutral or ground connection
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Turn off power at the breaker and verify power is off before touching wiring.
- Check for shorts: Disconnect LED light modules and fans one at a time from the control board, then restore power briefly to see if EC7 clears. A component that triggers the code when connected is likely shorted.
- Inspect wiring: Look for pinched wires at door hinges, around shelves, and near the evaporator cover.
- Check board fuses: Some Wolf control boards have onboard fuses. Inspect and test them with a multimeter; replace only with identical type and rating.
- If no external short found: The low-voltage section of the main control board may be defective and require replacement.
