• Check ambient temperature: Extremely high room temperatures can cause overload trips.
• Inspect overload protector: Access the compressor and check the overload device for signs of overheating. Replace if it trips frequently and tests weak.
• Verify sensor readings: Test the cabinet sensor; incorrect readings can cause rapid cycling.

Note: Persistent short cycling can damage the compressor. If basic checks do not resolve it, have a technician evaluate the control board and compressor.
