Possible Causes

Failed lower zone evaporator fan, Blocked air duct to lower zone, Faulty lower zone temperature sensor, Partial blockage in lower zone evaporator

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety: Unplug the wine cooler before removing internal panels or accessing fans.

Steps:

  • Check airflow: Ensure bottles are not blocking vents between zones.
  • Access lower fan: Remove lower shelves and internal panels to reach the lower zone evaporator fan. Check if it spins freely and is not obstructed by ice.
  • Test fan operation: With power restored (only if safe), observe whether the lower fan runs when the compressor is on. Replace the fan motor if it does not run.
  • Check lower zone sensor: Test the lower zone NTC sensor for correct resistance and replace if faulty.

Note: If fans and sensors are good but the lower zone still does not cool, a sealed system or valve issue may exist and requires a refrigeration technician.
