Wine cooler interior light stays on all the time, even when the door is closed.

Safety: Unplug the unit before working on the door area or control panel.

Steps:

• Test switch operation: Press the door switch manually (if mechanical). The light should turn off. If not, the switch is likely faulty.
• Check magnet alignment: For magnetic reed switches, ensure the door magnet lines up correctly with the sensor. Adjust hinges if the door has sagged.
• Inspect wiring: Look for pinched or shorted wires around the door frame.
• Replace switch or magnet: Install a new Zanussi-compatible door switch or magnet if defective.

Note: If the light remains on despite a working switch, the control board may be interpreting the door as always open and may require replacement.
