Possible Causes
Failed IR receiver board, Disconnected receiver harness, Indoor PCB communication fault, Power supply issue on indoor PCB
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Turn off power at the breaker before removing the front panel.
- Check remote first: Replace remote batteries and verify the remote is transmitting (view through a smartphone camera to see IR LED flashing when buttons are pressed).
- Inspect receiver window: Clean the IR receiver window on the indoor unit; dirt can block the signal.
- Receiver board check: Remove the front panel and locate the small IR receiver PCB. Ensure its connector is firmly seated on the main PCB.
- Board replacement: If the receiver is connected and the remote is working but H0 persists, the IR receiver board or indoor main PCB may need replacement. This is best done by a technician.
