How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Disconnect power at the outdoor disconnect. Never work near the fan with power on.
- Clear obstructions: Remove any debris, ice, or covers blocking the fan.
- Clean coil and fan: Clean the outdoor coil and fan blades to reduce load on the motor.
- Spin test: With power off, spin the fan by hand to check for bearing issues.
- Inspect wiring: Check the fan motor connector and harness for damage.
- Replace motor if needed: Install a Fujitsu-compatible DC outdoor fan motor if the existing motor cannot maintain proper speed.
- PCB replacement: If a new motor does not resolve H6, the outdoor PCB fan control circuit may be defective and should be replaced by a technician.
