Indoor unit louvers do not move or are stuck in one position

Safety first: Turn off power before manually moving louvers to avoid motor damage or pinched fingers.

• Check for obstructions: Ensure nothing is blocking the louvers (curtains, objects on the wall).
• Manual movement: Gently move the louvers by hand. If they are jammed, inspect for broken plastic parts.
• Reset position: Turn power off for 5 minutes, then restore and set the louver swing function to see if movement resumes.
• Motor replacement: If the motor hums but louvers do not move, or there is no response at all, the louver motor or linkage may need replacement by a technician.
